Dietary Restrictions: Please let us know if you or your guests require specialty items such as vegetarian vegan, dairy-free, etc. Our caterers will be happy to prepare items suitable for your situation.

"Cryptography Through the Ages" Imagine sending a letter that is scrambled before it leaves your hands, so no one else can read it unless they have the secret key to unlock it. This concept is known as cryptography, which is a mathematical tool that ensures the security of messages, bank transactions, and sensitive information. In this session, we will explore how cryptography is used to encode and decode information, both in everyday life and in the search for intelligent signals from space. We will work with a simple cipher and try to decrypt a message without prior knowledge of the key. We’ll also discuss how scientists analyze potential extraterrestrial signals, using mathematical patterns and computational tools to determine whether they contain meaningful information.
No programming experience is necessary—just curiosity and a willingness to explore the connections between math, astronomy, and the search for life beyond Earth.

"Thinking Clearly: Mastering Decision-Making and Avoiding Cognitive Traps". This course explores how and why our decisions sometimes go wrong—and what we can do about it. Participants will learn to identify common decision-making errors such as the sunk cost fallacy, anchoring effects, and confirmation bias. Through real-world examples and practical strategies, the class focuses on building awareness of these cognitive traps and developing tools to make more rational, effective choices in everyday life.
